Create an API Key

In this article, we will show you how to create an API key. You'll need this key if a third-party provider requires it to connect to KlickTipp. The key is necessary for the API functions → signin, → signout, and → signoff.

Important to know:

You can access the KlickTipp API with the premium version and all higher packages. Please note that the API functionality isn’t available in the standard version.

How to Create an API Key: Step-by-Step  

  • Click on → New list building in the → List building menu.
  • Select the → Entry via API key  button.
  • Assign a name for your list building.
  • Select an opt-in process.
  • Optionally, choose a manual tag at → Additional tagging.
  • Copy the API key to your clipboard.
  • Finally, click on → Save.
  • Use the API key with your desired third-party provider.
