Add Spam Protection to Your Website’s Sign-Up Forms
Protecting your website’s sign-up forms from spam is important. It helps keep your data secure and provides a better user experience. This guide will take you through the process step by step. Whether you’re using WordPress, Thrive Architect, or another CMS, you’ll learn how to secure your sign-up forms quickly and easily.
You can also add extra scripts to your content management system (CMS). If needed, contact your CMS support for assistance. This is often where you can also insert tracking codes, such as Google Analytics. The spam protection code should always be placed in the header, above the page, separate from the HTML code of the sign-up form, to function properly.
Important to Know
These instructions only apply to sign-up forms that you can integrate via HTML code. It does not apply to the connection via API. KlickTipp's sign-up forms (sign-up form, inline & widget) already have integrated spam protection. You do not need to insert any special code there.
This guide is only for signup forms that you can embed using HTML code. If you're using an API integration, you don't need this guide. KlickTipp sign-up forms (Sign-Up Form, Inline & Widget) already come with built-in spam protection, so no additional code is needed.
