Set Up Agency Access to Manage Clients in KlickTipp

Setting up agency access lets you switch between client accounts effortlessly. It simplifies overseeing campaigns and streamlines your workflow.

This guide walks you through creating an agency account and granting access to client accounts step by step. Let’s get started.

Agency Access Requirements

With agency access, you’ll be able to manage multiple KlickTipp clients effortlessly.

By setting up a affiliate account, you can switch between client accounts quickly and easily. To do this, your customer must have an Enterprise Account.

The agency account is essentially a free affiliate account. Start by creating one, which follows the same process as signing up for the KlickTipp affiliate program. You'll be directed to Digistore24, where you'll set up a new ID with a new email address.

This account is for accessing your clients' accounts, while your affiliate account remains separate. Setting up an agency account requires configuring an authentication code.

Haven't received an email from KlickTipp about your affiliate account?

If needed, re-register for the KlickTipp affiliate program using the user data from the account you created on the Digistore24 login page. You will then be prompted to verify your phone number.

Once that's done, your affiliate account will be created in KlickTipp, and you'll receive the login credentials for your agency account.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Create an Agency Account

First, create the required KlickTipp affiliate account as an agency account. To do so, log out of your regular KlickTipp account.

  • Now click on → Affiliate Program  and log in there.
  • You will be asked to log in with your Digistore24 ID and password. Create a new account at Digistore24 with a new email address.
  • Go through the KlickTipp double opt-in process. Set your password and activate the mobileTAN procedure. Log in to your newly created account
  • Copy the email address of this account.

Grant Agency Access

Log out of the agency account and log in to the customer account for which agency access is to be granted. The account owner may now need to complete the following steps:

  • Click → My account  → Settings  → User Account.
  • Scroll to the → Sub-Accounts  section.
  • Select the option → Set up Agency Access.
  • Paste the email address from your clipboard. This email address is used only for user registration. It cannot be used as an additional shipping address in another account.

Important to Know

No new agency access needs to be set up to change the email address of the agency account.

  • Select a role for the agency account. The following roles are available:
    • Administrator:  Full access
    • Copywriter:  Can create but not send emails
    • Email Marketing Manager:  Can create and send emails
    • Customer Support:  Can search for and edit contacts
    • Website Builder:  Has access to login forms, tags and other configurations
    • API User:  API only
  • Click on → Create Top Account.
  • Log out and log in to your affiliate account again.
  • Click on → My Account  → Customer Accounts.

All accounts that you have access to as an agency are listed under → Customer Accounts.  You can now easily switch between the different customer accounts.
