Use the “FullContact” Action to Enrich Your Contact Data

Discover how to make the most of the “FullContact” action and enhance your contact data. This feature helps you automatically gather additional details about your contacts. These details include any social media profiles they’re associated with.

Good to Know

The “FullContact” action is available starting with the Premium version of KlickTipp.

To use it, you’ll also need a paid FullContact account that matches the query volume required for your campaigns.

Prerequisites

Paid FullContact Account:

Ensure your FullContact account can handle the query volume for your KlickTipp contacts. The volume depends on how many contacts you want to sync daily or weekly.

Existing Contact Data in FullContact:

The contact must already exist in FullContact. You can’t control this directly. FullContact automatically searches its platform for the contact’s data. If the data is available, it syncs it with KlickTipp.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Log in to your FullContact Account.
  • Then click on → Generate New API Key and name your API connection. Save the API key displayed.
  • In KlickTipp, navigate to → My account  Settings  User Account.
  • Add the API key there under → FullContact API Key.
  • The “FullContact” action will now match all contacts in your KlickTipp campaign with FullContact.

Important Reminder

FullContact Quota:

Each query uses your FullContact quota. Adjust the query frequency in FullContact to match your plan and avoid exceeding your limit.

Overwriting Data:

The option → Always overwrite existing data with FullContact data  replaces existing data in KlickTipp. However, we recommend avoiding this option. It can cause errors with special characters, like umlauts, which may transfer into KlickTipp.

Tips for Using the “FullContact” Action

Use your FullContact quota wisely to avoid unexpected costs. Avoid overwriting data unless necessary to prevent conflicts and errors. Using FullContact helps you get accurate, valuable data to improve your campaigns.
