Add a Digital Business Card (vCard) to Your Email Signature

Want to make it easier for people to save your contact details? A digital business card (vCard) in your email signature is the perfect solution.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to create a vCard, add it to your email signature, and share your details with a QR code. Let’s get started!

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Click on → AutomationSignatures / Sender Profiles  in the menu.
  • Select the desired signature.
  • Under vCard, enter your data in the corresponding fields.
  • A new entry is made in the placeholders for the vCard. You will always find this under “vCards” in the placeholders.
  • Insert the vCard into your signature using the placeholders. It will appear there as a QR code.

With most smartphones' camera function, you can scan the QR code directly. This works on both mobile devices and desktop computers or laptops. When you click on the QR code, your contact details will automatically be added to the address book.

Some smartphones don't support scanning via the camera function. In that case, you can use QR code scanner apps. Choose an app that is compatible with your operating system.

You can create a unique vCard for each signature, allowing you to, for example, assign different email addresses for individual employees. You can also organize vCards by business sector.

Adding a digital business card (vCard) to your email signature is a smart way to share your contact details effortlessly. With just a scan, your recipients can save your information to their address books. Follow these steps to streamline communication and make a lasting impression. Try it today!
