Create Professional Landing Pages with KlickTipp

In this article, you'll learn how to create professional landing pages using KlickTipp. With the Email Builder, you can easily design pages and link them directly to your campaigns.

The KlickTipp Standard plan includes one landing page. The Premium plan offers three, the Deluxe plan provides five, and the Enterprise plan includes twenty.

Did You Already Know?

Import the campaign template for the first email into your KlickTipp account. Select the start condition that the contact has subscribed via your landing page.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Create Landing Page

  • Go to → List Building  Landing Pages  in the menu.
  • Click on the → + Landing Page  button.
  • Enter a name and select a double opt-in process.
  • Select a domain name and a double opt-in process.
  • Finally, go to → Create Landing Page.
  • Click on → Landing Page Editor  in the menu on the left to select a page template and fill it with content.

Insert Contents

  • Under the → Drag & Drop Editor  tile, click → Continue.
  • Select a template by clicking on → Apply.
  • You can insert various content blocks in the right-hand area of the editor. To do this, drag the individual block with the mouse to the desired position in the editor on the left.
  • You can also show and hide the sidebar using the blue icon.
  • If you click on the inserted block, here a paragraph for example, the block-specific settings will appear on the right-hand side. These are different for each block type.
  • You can define the division of your content via → Line   in the right-hand settings area. For example, you can display content in several columns.
  • The → General   menu item takes you to the settings for the entire page.
  • Your changes are saved automatically. You can view a page preview at any time via the → Preview   button.
  • You can display a grid or select a different template. You can also delete the entire content
  • At the top left of the editor you will see two small buttons. When clicked, these show the desktop or mobile editor version. This allows you to make specific changes for the respective end device.
  • Once you are happy with your page, you can publish it by clicking the → Publish  button.

Integrate List Building

  • The → Form  content block allows you to collect contacts in KlickTipp. Add it to your page using drag & drop.
  • An email field is included by default, which is directly linked to KlickTipp.
  • You can add further fields on the right-hand side in the content properties. To do this, click on → Add New Field.
  • In addition to the standard fields, you can also create additional fields.
  • You can define the technical properties of a field via the → Edit  link. You can change visual properties via the drop-down menu under → Label Options,  Field Properties  and Button Properties.
  • Click on → Edit  and the following window will open.
  • You can change the label of the field or insert a placeholder. Specify whether the field is a mandatory field or whether it is read-only and therefore cannot be filled in.
  • Finally, go to → Save.

Overview of the Landing Pages

  • Click on → List Building  Landing Pages  in the KlickTipp menu.
  • You can display drafted or published posts. You can also select posts with unpublished changes. The pages with the respective URL are displayed below.

Filter Sign-Ups via the Landing Page in the ContactCloud

  • Click on → Contacts  Contacts.
  • Scroll to the entry → Tagged with Tag  and click on the drop-down menu under → Tags.
  • Further down in the list, select the entry → Filter: Entered via landing page.
  • Then select the relevant landing page below.
  • Finally, go to → Search.
  • Under → Search Result  you will see contacts who have registered via the landing page.
  • Click on the contact and select → Contact History  in the menu on the left.
  • The contact receives the SmartTag of the landing page
  • You can select this SmartTag for all filters in KlickTipp. These are, for example, start conditions of campaigns, “If...Else...” actions, or the “Goals” action.
