Create an Inline Sign-Up Form for Your Website

In this post, you'll learn how to create an inline signup form.

We’ll guide you through embedding it on your website. The inline signup form is compact, asking only for the email address, making it ideal for saving space.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • In the menu, select → List Building → New List Building.
  • Click on the → Inline  icon and name your sign-up form.
  • Click on the → Create Sign-Up Form  button.

You can either use a predefined opt-in process or create one tailored to your needs.

Decide if the sign-up form should assign an additional tag.

Below the preview of your inline sign-up form, you’ll find a variety of predefined color templates to choose from. These color combinations are optimized and proven to perform well in split tests. In the gray box, you’ll also find options to further customize your form.

  • Click on the → Save  button.
  • To add the sign-up form to your website, click on the → Embed code  button.

A modal dialog will open, giving you two options: → JavaScript Source Code  or → iFrame Source Code.

The → JavaScript Source Code  has an advantage. Any changes you make to the registration form will automatically update on your website.

  • Select the → iFrame Source Code  for common CMS systems such as WordPress, Joomla or Drupal.
  • Then open your website and insert the source code of the registration form. You can usually do this using an HTML module.

Creating an inline sign-up form is a simple and effective way to collect email addresses without taking up too much space on your website. Follow these steps to design and embed your form seamlessly. Try it today to enhance your email collection strategy.
