Campaign Templates at a Glance

Simple E-Mail Info Series

You can use this campaign to create a simple series of informational emails, like a prospect or product info campaign.

It includes several emails, each with a set waiting period in between.

If a contact loses the correct → Tag or clicks a → SmartLink (e.g., 'Not Interested'), the campaign will stop automatically. We've added a 'Goals' action for this, but you can remove it if you prefer to manage it differently.

Stop campaigns with the "Targets" action

This campaign template offers two highly flexible use cases for the → Goal action. The action is triggered when a specific tag is assigned or another one is removed.

Changes in the contact’s master data or history can also trigger the 'Targets' action. This includes actions such as clicking on a SmartLink, opening an email, or filling out a master data field. Each target can also trigger a different follow-up action.

Stopping a campaign is just one common example of how the action can be used. As you can see, the possibilities with the 'Targets' action are vast! Although only one target can be triggered per campaign, you can define as many campaign goals as you like.

This allows you to direct your contact into completely different branches of your campaign structure. Depending on which 'Targets' action is triggered, you can add appropriate follow-up actions in the relevant branch. These can include assigning or removing tags, starting other campaigns, or any other actions.

Advent Calendar Campaign

The Advent calendar campaign consists of twenty-four email actions with corresponding 'Wait' actions and queries in between each.

It even works if one of your contacts subscribes to the calendar later on in the month.

Birthday Campaign

With this campaign, you can send annual birthday wishes via email.

You can also change the sending method to SMS.

For this to work, the → Birthday field of the contact must contain a date.

Add a waiting time of at least one day between the 'Wait' actions for the birthday to prevent the birthday email from being sent twice on the same day.

Simple survey

The → Simple survey campaign template offers an easy-to-manage campaign based on a survey newsletter. It includes answer links your contacts can click on.

Depending on the selected answer and click on a → SmartLink, a corresponding → manual tag is assigned. You can add more questions and answers at any time.

Full salutation in contact

Here you will find the campaign template → Recognize gender with selection of salutation. This template uses the → Recognize names action.

Enter different field values in the corresponding "Update contact" actions. The campaign works based on the first name, as long as the field is filled.

It automatically assigns the appropriate salutation (male, female, or non-binary) in the contact's master record. If the first name field is empty, the check will continue until a name is entered.

Reactivation campaign

Here you will find the template for the reactivation campaign. This works hand in hand with the KlickTipp feature to reactivate passive recipients.

You can control the tag assignment for passive recipients under → My account SettingsUser account. Define a tag there, which is assigned in the event of inactivity (between one and six months). The campaign sends a reactivation email with special content. This should encourage the contact to open the email. If this happens, the tag is revoked for passive recipients, but the contact remains in the campaign.

When the tag is received again, the campaign starts again for the contact. However, if the contact does not open the email, they will be unsubscribed after fourteen days.

Server Warm-Up

This campaign template is designed to gradually "warm up" your new Enterprise server.

It achieves this by progressively increasing the number of emails sent during the first month using the → "Wait" action with the → Maximum number of contacts setting.

By default, 200 contacts are included in the campaign template. You can adjust this number daily following the table provided in the article:

To make these adjustments, briefly deactivate the campaign, update the number of contacts, and then reactivate the campaign to continue the warm-up process.

Webinar reminder

This campaign template can be used for many types of event reminders.

The prerequisite is that the corresponding date & time field is filled in. This can be done, for example, via a registration page for recurring webinars. Another option is to connect an appointment tool. The campaign template consists of two campaigns A01 and A02.

In campaign A01, all preparations are made in the contact's master record. This includes copying the date & time field to another date & time field and counting up a counter for the number of registrations a contact has made so far. Participation or registrations are limited to a maximum of five in this campaign template. This helps you to filter out and focus on the really interested contacts.

Finally, campaign A02 sends the reminder emails at the appropriate time. This is done on the basis of the information in the date & time help field. When registering for a new appointment, this is registered via the date & time field. The campaigns start again for the updated time.

Welcome campaign for new contacts

You can use this campaign template whenever you want to automatically send contacts an email, such as a greeting.

For example, it can target contacts registered with you within the last 24 hours. The time frame can be adjusted to a shorter or longer period as needed.

Entry via landing page

You can use the campaign template in combination with your landing page in KlickTipp.

Simply select your landing page in the start condition and create an email. The rest is already set up. Of course, you can expand the campaign at any time. You can adjust waiting times and add other actions.
